A Call to Serve
Since the time of the Apostles, Christ has personally called forth some men to dedicate their lives to ministering to the People of God in the service of the Church as a bishop, priest, or deacon. The Sacrament of Holy Orders confers special graces upon these men to give their whole lives to this particular mission in the Church and to build up the People of God.
