What is Reconciliation?

In the parable of the Prodigal Son, Jesus tells us about God’s love and forgiveness. He taught us about forgiveness and peace. Divine forgiveness is unconditional and is the model for us to practise in our daily life.

Confession Schedule

The Sacrament of Reconciliation is available every Friday from 7pm to 8:30pm. During Lent there are additional times are provided for the Sacrament of Reconciliation. Please see the Parish News page for details. You may also contact the Parish Office to make an appointment for other times.

First Reconciliation

The sacrament of Penance (First Reconciliation/Confession) is for children in Year 2 and above.

First Reconciliation is part of our sacramental program and is designed as a faith journey for you and your child. You are invited to participate in the parish-based, family-centred program. First Reconciliation involves an information evening, a welcoming Mass, a series of lessons and rehearsal for the sacrament. Your involvement in the sacramental program is vital in preparation for receiving this sacrament.

Registration for First Reconciliation begins in September
