Welcoming

New parishioners to the Parish are invited to fill out their name and contact details in the Parish Welcoming Book located at the Piety Stall at the back of church.

From there a member of our team will give you a call to say hello. We will also explain to you the various ministries of our Parish and if you’re interested in joining any of them then we can put you in contact with the right person.

We endeavour to organise a morning tea every other month after the 9:15 Sunday morning Mass. At these Masses we like to give all parishioners a name tag and invite everyone to stay around after Mass for a cuppa and a chat. We hope this encourages our Parishioners to get to know each other more in a friendly and relaxed environment.

New Parishioners receive a special invitation to our morning teas.

In The Catholic Wild West

Mary-Anne Gordon could be the new face of Catholicism. With few Priests available to do the work, she travels the length of the Wilcannia-Forbes diocese in rural NSW hatching, matching, dispatching & providing pastoral care. Compass (on ABC) explores the interface between religion and life as experienced by individuals and communities - from ordinary Australians, public leaders, religious thinkers and philosophers. Our parish is Lending A Hand to the drought-stricken diocese.
